Our Aviation Medical Centre is one of the limited number of hospitals authorised to be an Aero Medical Centre (AMC) in accordance with the aviation health instruction SHT-MED in accordance with the European Union legislation in order to keep flight-related personnel and candidates physically, mentally and spiritually healthy and to ensure flight safety.

Our Private Aile Hastanesi Aviation Medical Centre (Aero-Medical Centre-AeMC); The Aviation Health Instruction (SHT-MED) of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in accordance with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations in order to keep flight-aviation personnel, students or candidates physically, mentally and spiritually healthy and to ensure flight safety, As an Aviation Medical Centre (AeMC) approved by SHT-ORA (DGCAO Flight Crew ORGANISATION REQUIREMENTS INSTRUCTIONS), subject to the conditions in the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO Annex-1), EU Commission Regulation 1178/2011, is one of the limited number and oldest Aviation Medical Centres in Turkey, authorised by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Directorate General of Civil Aviation to perform all airworthiness examinations of all flight and aviation personnel and candidates such as initial, periodic, medical fitness reduction, alcohol-psychoactive substance screening within the scope of SHT-APAM and to issue health certificates and reports.

In our air health board established within our hospital, we have specialised physicians from 5 branches in accordance with the DGCA legislation and experienced flight physicians as the chairman of the board. The fact that our Flight Physicians have previously examined thousands of aviators, our AeMC President Dr. Namık Kemal Akburak has previously worked as a doctor in Air Ambulance operations, the only Senior Aero-Medical Examiner (Senior Flight Physician) authorised by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Turkey, and has performed hundreds of EASA and FAA licensed flight personnel examinations, using years of experience in aviation medicine to keep flight and aviation personnel healthy, They carry out the examinations with the mission of ensuring that the personnel who meet the regulatory health conditions at the limit can continue their duties and send them to their flight missions in good health during their duty period.

In this context, all aviation examinations and certifications of the following flight and aviation personnel, students and candidates who work or are candidates to work within all aviation and airline companies, balloon businesses, flight schools, universities with aviation-related departments can be performed in our hospital.

The examination procedures of flight and aviation personnel start at 08:00-08:30 on weekdays by prior appointment. Aviation personnel who apply with 10-12 hours of fasting (after a lean and light dinner, without eating or drinking anything except water), identity card or a document replacing identity card, 2 passport size photographs, old health certificate or report for those applying for periodic or renewal examination (The procedure cannot be started without the old original health certificate or report. If it is lost, the lost certificate-report process is carried out first) together with the aviation examination; After filling out the forms, blood-urine samples taken for examinations, breakfast is served and the examinations are completed and the procedures are completed on the same day (usually around noon) unless there is an extra situation.
