He was born on 06.11.1963 in Eskişehir. He graduated from Kuleli Military High School in 1981 and from Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Faculty in 1987. Between 1988 and 1990, he served as the Chief Medical Officer of the General Staff. In 1993, he became a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology at GATA.
